Annual Reviews

Every EHCP must be reviewed at least once a year to check whether it still reflects your child’s needs and provision.

Before the review

• You should be invited to share your views in writing.
• School and professionals may provide updated reports.
• Think about what has worked, what has not, and future goals.

During the meeting

You, your child (where appropriate), school staff and sometimes professionals discuss progress, challenges and needed changes.
